Burglary Spree in Tiruchi: 57 Sovereigns of Gold Stolen

Burglars targeted four houses in Tiruchi on Monday night, stealing a total of 57 sovereigns of gold and cash. The first incident occurred in Balaji Nagar, where Sridhar’s house was broken into, and 22 sovereigns of gold and ₹5,000 in cash were stolen. In Rayar Thoppu, burglars looted 35 sovereigns of gold and silver items from Selvakumar’s house while his family was away. Attempted break-ins were also reported in Amirtha Nagar by two residents. The police suspect the burglars targeted unoccupied houses and have launched an investigation.
